Biography
Dr. We-Duke Cho is a full professor at the Electronics Engineering Department at the University of Ajou. His research interests span the areas of Design for Ubiquitous System business model, Design for Ubiquitous Union System(u-Home, u-City), and Technology of Broadcasting and Telecommunication Union Platform. He directs the Center of excellence for Ubiquitous System(CUS) at the University of Ajou, and is director of the Foundation of Ubiquitous Computing & Network(UCN), a organization to take Government's frontier technology development.
Born in Pu-san, Korea, Dr. Cho earned his B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Sogang University, Korea, in 1981. He earned his M.S and Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology(KAIST) in 1983 and 1987. Before joining the University of Ajou, he held academic and industrial research positions at LG-Electronics, KITECH, KETI in Korea.
